I have seen people like him, I have read about them in the history. They are troublemakers, misfits, unwanted codes in an otherwise perfect programming.
They don’t like the idea that there life is being dictated through ideals that they don’t believe in. They have the vision to see beyond the temporary construct of feeble human intellect that tries desperately to justify a life without meaning or purpose. They don’t stand up against a mafia in a country or for a nation, they flow against the global stream, the fact that their war is not national but global is only realized once they start waging it.
“I have a dream …”
“A Man who stands for nothing will fall for everything … “
Their voices from past resonates in present. we see it happening in Pakistan.
“You want to silence us by guns, you want to silence our voices by arms, so when should we say that we are agreeing on something… we will fight we will go back and fight my country harkens for me, why should I waste my time here in the security council, I am going.”
We know it when the world decides to get rid of them. Do you think after what Bhutto said in the security council on 15 December 1971,he would have survived.
Don’t you think after Martin Luther King shared his dream, he stepped on many tails and toes that he was not suppose to step on.
“For we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence — on infiltration instead of invasion — on subversion instead of elections — on intimidation instead of free choice — on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day.”
In 1961, when Jhon f kennedy made a speech called President and the Press, it was understood by the world then that this man cannot be allowed to rule the United States of America.
Same was decided for Shah Faisal, when he introduced oil embargo, he was threatened by the west of grave consequences and the history notes his reply “we and our ancestors survived on dates and milk … and we will go back to them”
Be it Malcom X, Martin Luther King, Kennedy, Bhutto, or Shah Faisal or those who follow their foot steps, they have many commonalities; they were all assassinated or murdered in cold blood.
What is with them that brought them to one common end. They stood up for what they thought was right. They took a stand that was against the world, against the global status-quo.
From 1980s, Pakistan has hosted governments that were made on the behest of the west. The Bhutto regime was the last independent government that ruled Pakistan. The legacy of Bhutto haunts it successors. “The great white elephant is after me” Bhutto said in the parliament. Soon after that we saw Islam kill an independent Pakistani.
The rise of Imran khan as a politician is a fact that is still indigestible by his opponent, so they threw every blame possible on him, they started calling him a yahoodi agent as well as Taliban khan, they said ISI was behind him as well as CIA, they said he is the man of zardari but he supports Musharraf too. The end proved all allegations wrong.
Those who were and who are in power, fail to recognize the fact that this nation of 200 million sub continental slaves can rise up for their rights. The ruling junta in Pakistan cannot fathom the idea that after 6 decades of unquestionable and unaccountable rule, how can their moth-ridden subjects ask for accountability.
They tried to divide Pakistan into ethnicities and sects, but the problem with khan is that he tries to unite Pakistan. They have and played Sindh card, Punjab card, balochistan freedom card, Khan plays the Pakistan card and challenges them.
After Bhutto, the islamist general Zia actually waged the war of the west in the name of islam, he nurtured a party that would be the slave to the same masters as he was, Nawaz league is his legacy.
General Musharraf was allowed to rule only because he gave west free hand to run in Pakistan. Even our defense and foreign policies were drafted on the wishes of the west. But he was not a politician and after failed experiments with Gaddafi and Saddam, the west knew that a military dictator could ditch the west any time. They wanted a political setup. Musharraf rule gave the west the time to strengthen their roots in Pakistani political, bureaucratic and military structure.
The reason for the investment of west is obvious, they have a lot of stakes in Pakistan. They have forces in Afghanistan that they control via Pakistan. There is another aspect of the situation, which is geo-strategic. If Pakistan breaks free from the dependence of west and join hands with china and Iran, then this block would become the most power full and independent block that would challenge United States.
So to keep the people of Pakistan as proxy slaves, west wants spineless regimes in Pakistan, those who prefer their personal gains on the national interest.
Fact of the matter is Pakistan is not ready for Imran Khan and world doesn’t want an independent free Muslim state.
On June 30, 2012, the people of Egypt, won a long hard war, when they selected Morsi as their president. Wrong or right, Morsi was the first man in Egypt that stood up for the interests of Egypt, otherwise it was ruled by a western stooge named Mubarik.
So a Muslim country that has all the potential, independently elects a President for the first time in decades, a President that will change the fate of Egyptians. West by its nature cannot let that happen.
As usual, they bought an army general from the forces named SISSI and then the world saw the most brutal assault by an army on its citizens. Thousands of Morsi supporters were murdered live on television. Thousands are missing, killed or kept in dungeons. The west that champions human rights keeps a mum on the situation. In fact the western media purposefully fails to provide accurate accounts of the state terrorism in Egypt and Morsi becomes history.
So every thing that has a beginning has an end and in today’s world, the bigger the beginning, the faster it reaches to its end.
There are only two ends for the Imran Khan story.
If Imran khan succeeds and gets into power through fair elections, his government would not last for long. We are a country where ZIAs blossom and Hashmis prevail, where political parties purchase channels directly and journalism is for sale, where religion becomes the enemy of the people and secularism is fascist in nature.
Some mullah would rise to make the PTI government fall, or a general might find IK dangerous to the security of the country. IK would become the Morsi of Pakistan, or yet another Bhutto.
There is also a second conclusion to this story, it is more relevant and serves the wishes of the west better. If we are delusional enough to think that there is no conspiracy going against Pakistan, we are actually too weak to do something about it. How can this be possible that people are dying, terrorism is at its peak, inflation is at its highest, Pakistan is meeting the indicators of African countries and the Pakistani keeps selecting same leaders over and over again? This can’t happen. There is something seriously wrong with this system. Its so wrong that anyone who will ever try to change it would be killed…and if it all its Imran Khan, he will be assassinated. That is the end.

Great piece. What saddens me is that the nation still chooses to sleep. We don’t fathom that if we keep sleeping now, forever will we be telling our next generation of how IK brought our long awaited path to success on a delicious looking platter and how we threw it to the gutter and spoiled our only chance that took 68 years to come.
Yes.. We waited for hime since decades !
I beg to differ with the writer.
Khan Sahab will not be assassinate, he may get killed, but he will not assassinated. An ordinary person gets killed for something trivial. A leader gets assassinated to prevent something great from happening, will Khan Sahab be assassinated to prevent something great from happening to 180 million people of Pakistan?
Before that a fundamental question arises here, is Khan Sahab a Leader? A leader has to have a vision & a strategy, Khan Sahab may have a vision but does he have a strategy?
First lets study Khan Sahab’s leadership style. Khan Sahab often talks about Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) in his speeches from the container. There is a difference between “Khan Sahab” leadership style and “Smart or Muhammadan” leadership style. During his speeches, most of the time Khan Sahab is ANGRY, shouting, using foul language. Khan Sahab is not even aware of the fundamentals of the leadership & teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)…. “Ghussa Haram Hay”.
“ليس الشديد بالصرعة؛ إنما الشديد الذي يملك نفسه عند الغضب
The strong person is not the good wrestler. Rather, the strong person is the one who controls himself when he is angry.
(Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 73, #135)”
There are countless examples in the the history where people who have changed the world did not get assassinated, just to name a few, Nelson Mandela, Buddha, Gorbechev & greatest of all Prophet Muhammad. All these people had their ego in control, they were not Angry Men, they were “Wise Men”.
Khan Sahab has the chance to become a great leader for Pakistani nation but not by behaving like a cheap entertainer, who gets on a stage every night, flanked by unethical people with no conscious like Sheikh Rasheed, Jahangir Tareen etc. and gather a crowd by music, dance and unverified, baseless allegations. This daily show is not only an insult to Pakistani Nation but also to Khan Sahab himself.
How many times during the past one month from that container have you heard speeches motivation people to go and help millions of displaced people from the war going on in North of Pakistan or victims of flood in Punjab? There has not been even a single mention of these Victims. While the IDPs & flood victims suffer, people dance on the Container and just talk of party & Jushan.
Khan Sahab is a hate monger, when you listen to his speech, you do not feel Inspired, you feel Angry. You do not want to construct, you want to destroy. You do not feel like embracing others, you want Revenge.
When everyone has to live in the same home then a wise man chooses his words carefully and does not take matters to the point of no return. We are all Pakistanis, every night in his daily entertainment show, the people that Khan Sahab either threatens or ridicules live in this country and will live in this country. Have you thought about a house where a few families live but no one talks to the other with no respect for the other, in fact every night they shout at the top of their voice abusing each other, is this a happy house? will this home every prosper? so called leader of the house who is a part of this circus, is he fit to be called a leader, let alone a wise leader?
Khan Sahab is not making Pakistanis an inclusive nation, he is dividing this already divided nation even more. This is what Khan Sahab is sowing in the minds of the youth of Pakistan, division, following the classical gora strategy of divide & rule. Through Khan Sahab this nation is being divided even more so that it becomes even easier to rule. Khan Sahab is not making this nation polite, law abiding citizens who approach a problem through logic, reasoning, making their personality an example that others follow. My beloved Prophet PBUH won the hearts & minds of Arabs & then rest of the world through patience, forgiveness, respect, logic, helping people in time of need, leading by example, this is the true leadership style, Khan Sahab does not have an iota of understand about leadership.
Khan Sahab has already sold his soul to the Devil, in return for this Khan Sahab has been promised a short cut to success. Khan Sahab is in a power game now. For real success there is no short cut. Leaders like Nelson Mandela and greatest of all leaders Prophet Muhammad PBUH, Preached & Practiced a policy of Inclusion, a policy of mutual respect, a policy of truth & reconciliation.
Pakistanis are not extremists, we are not a violent nation, we do not need “Khuni Inqilab” we need to simply follow the path to success that great leaders have already shown us. I hope and pray that God knocks some sense in Khan Sahab’s brain and he changes his strategy because he is the right one to bring a Positive Change & to lead this nation to success & glory.
With you all due respect Atif Khalil Sahab, your personal views do not do the man any justice. I would have gladly agreed and endorsed your comment if the unnecessary bias was not present in it. You speak of Pakistanis and you speak of being the ideal muslim. Please explain to me where the Pakistani is and where these ideal muslims can be found among the leaders opposed by this man who has sold his soul to the devil, according to you that is. Please explain to me which leader among the so many, advocate unity among the citizens? Yes, they do advocate unity among themselves so they can slowly drain our resources and dictate us collectively. Yes, they do remember Seraiki Provinces and Kashmir when they want popularity. Yes, they do wet their socks every now and then to fool us in pictures. Zulfiqar Bhutto came to power due to a short cut, was he a leader? The same was with the case of Zia, Nawaz, Benazir, Musharraf & countless others. One one hand you call him a “hate monger”, on the other hand you hope and pray to God to knock some sense in his brain? Should we not hope and collectively pray to God to knock some sense and shame within every crooked politician in Pakistan? The unrealistic expectations that have become a burden on his shoulders is what makes him entertain. If there isn’t a crowd, you reject him as a popular leader. If he does not win sufficient seats, you reject him as being a successful one, if he has veterans around him you criticise his judgement and if he has a less entertaining stance the media would not cover a boring event. We expect alot from a man yet we forget what is expected from us. I follow his ideology, not him, but the direction. You have a Sindhi, a Punjabi, a Pathan, a Muhajir, a Seraiki, a Neglected Baloch, a Hazara and so many others, where is the Pakistani? He deserves criticism and he is not perfect, none of us are. However, if we all started expecting the man to do what each and everyone of us feels right in our opinion, he would go mad. Do appreciate the hope and the faith in change he has gifted you and when you do criticise him, please refrain from reflecting your personal opinions as facts.
AA, u r 100% correct.I wanted to reply to Atif Khalil but u ve replied all and gracefully.I dont know Atif Khalil would be able to calmly think, understand and appreciate IK but(and its a big but) if he does, that would be big thing. He had wide contradictions in his observations. He says Pakistan doesnt experience violence but isnt there any police violence even killings recoded regularly? Then there s communal punishments vani, karokari, rape cases, false FIRs, false witnesses etc.So to voice for ending such injustices, would be a reform and service to this country.Agree Atif Sb? You have to agree that equal right/access to justice and being Pakistani means a United and peaceful Pakistan. It will make every Pakistani happy and satisfied not divided as you stated. This is what he quotes in his speeches too.How come u get the idea that he s somehow creating any gap?It could be that u r part of existing status quo system and IK spreading awareness to all Pakistanis of their rights and duties appear to you as something dividing, violent etc due to it something new and happening for the first time in Pakistan.I dont know why anything that can lead to justice, transparency, public health, education, austerity, peace, equality doesnot look good to u? IK is a national figure loved equally in all parts of Pakistan due to his personal services that made countrymen proud.so he could be a suitable man for this job with a past of heroic acheivements.
Good Job SFQ ! Atif K. has skipped many obvious things is his biased piece of work for which you have elaborated points very well.
Agree!
Good reply
Too much assumptions and little knowledge in your comment…firstly never has khan abused anyone on or off the container..talking loudly and hitting criticism is part of “heating debates” that happen even at college level..just to make u understand that no one is abusing each other. .pls don’t quote a hadees when u are falsely accusing someone of something he doesn’t do.
2ndly whats wrong in singing and dancing over patriotic songs? Our army men are known to dance to Noor Jahan’s songs and listen to them even in battle field.
3rdly via the container Khan taught a lot other than politics. .of how the youth shud be towards their parents and how should men be towards women..and how one shud deeply study religion and study how the caliphate was..I guess u have no knowledge of those speeches
Cominh to IDPs and flood victims, wrong again, he appealed time and again right from the container for Insafians to help them out and guess which organisations are still providing the greatest help to IDPs and flood victims? ??: 1. The Army 2. IKF !! And do u kno what IKF is?? Its the “Imran Khan Foundation” ..just follow their website/ facebool page to know wat theu are still doing for IDPs and Flood victims!
The one who doesn’t know when Namaaz E Eid gets completed, it is impossible to be or to teach others about religion and its teachings..
I feel sorry to this nation who has become what it is at the moment.
The reason is not the corruption, injustice, brutality etc. The only reason is that we left the core and basics of our Religion Islam and are suffering with every social and individual problem.
Are you crazy?
Very well analyzed Atif.
@ Atif Khalil
Your arguments lack contextual coherence. The golden era of ISLAM can’t be replicate today with exactly what they used to do in their times. But, the essence of ISLAM ought to be replicated at present. Evolution and Revolution are two distinct terms. What IK is doing with bunch of youngsters of all ages is the only thing to educate these politically infested nation.
Dancing, mix gathering, chanting foul tongue on the actions of ruling and the past ruling political parities, waging rage and anger to the already divided nation etc etc.
My dear, these traits have become the social construct of this nation over the past 67 years. These are the blemishes that we live with in the land of the pure and the pious. We are already morally bankrupt and politically oppressed. This is our National attitude. We lack patience and tolerance. We are skeptical of everything. We don’t own religion but talk of it and kill each other on the name of religion. Hypocrisy is the second name the World recognizes us today.
Aforementioned are some tit bit telling of our National Outlook.
IK is using these traits to trigger the very conscience and rationale to know thy rights. What government owes to its citizens. This is called Social Mobilization and Sensitization. Nation is being educated on issues they knew in the past to the extent ruling governments would allow.
But, now ”Mera Haq, Ethay Rakh” kinda education is ON.
We can’t differentiate between a Leader and a Non Leader. But these are the end results/Outcomes that decide it.
Corruption engenders Corruption. Mere constitution can’t change the fate of a nation no matter if it is drafted with all the Good. I dare to say here. Quran is the Noble and Magnificent Book of the Muslims. Supposedly, every house possesses a copy of it. We place it on high racks. We got all collection of Ahadith ( Saying of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him). But their presence don’t bring change unless people are educated with the art to learn from these sources.
The same applies on everything around. People are mobilized first. Otherwise , amendments in the Constitution will never do Good but Harm to the nation.
What TUQ and IK are doing is the result of the apathetic attitude ruling governments has been demonstrated.
No sane mind can challenge the allegations these two are raising. People may differ from the method they have adopted (foul tongue). But, Nation must know the bad deeds and how the nation is being fooled over and over again.
Long live Pakistan, Long Live Islam!
SE Sahib stunned to read your reply.Amazing, hats off and full marks.Perfect observation and analysis.I thought I had good observation and wisdom.but I feel I m nothing compared to you.IK is not some special creation but a mere human being so people shud appreciate what he s conveying and trying to do, not start expecting something like he s a superman.1- Do you think few criticise because they want him to fail? 2- why is so we await a reformer and if somebody tries to improve, we discourage? Its like running in a circle, moving but not reaching anywhere.Do v lack courage or v lack trust/confidence?
Bob Marley was not assassinated…
yes he was to … but he was shot 2 days prior to concert but survived
You must have a conversation with a PML N die hard to understand them. Our nation is truly sleeping. The problem is that they dont know they are actually dreaming. A person who has seen roads as the most any politician has given will be blinded by the love of those roads and that is a reason why you cant expect them to think that Pakistan can be something more than just that. I follow IK because he promotes literacy everything else will even out. Democracy no matter how fake it is must go on.
i oppose for some facts, in above most of the scenarios their personal wealth helped them a lot to speak up their brain
seriously ? personal wealth
FIRST OF ALL BLOODY PAKISTANIS LIKE ATIF KHALIL MUST BE ASSASSINATED.
I respect your opinion but i find your arguments based on assumptions, emotions, shortsightedness and incoherence. I will not go in to the details, but in my humble opinion, IK will never be assassinated, because he has lost every chance to enter the corridors of power. And yes i voted his candidate in GE, may be i will vote again in his favour, but i dont see him as a PM if he continues his journey in the same direction.
The bottomline is, “The world of Politics is not a world of Emotions”.

Those who made Khan also produced movie WAAR …. and the Khan of WAAR gets killed as well.
I do not know why people have invested so much on IK who is not the material world leaders are made of. The maximum he can reach with his capabilities is a CBR (union) leader who can arrange good protests and strikes with the help of gopd investors.
In past, I strongly believed that he gonna be assassinated but then he showed some differences from those who are the ideal candidates. Those who can be politically assassinated (Plan A) are merely end up being literally killed (Plan B). The status quo doesn’t usually prefer killing a popular person unless it consistently shows unbeatable honesty, courage and “wisdom”, because killing such a person often awakes people beyond the awakening potential of that person. They big guys must be confused at the moment about his fate, the array of expressions of lack of wisdom could save his life but …
May ALLAH (swt) give courage to each Pakistani to live with true spirit of abiding the rule of law in every sphere of live. Ameen. The most important component missing in Pakistani’s lives. We can rise again if each one of us make promise to abide the Rule of Law.
Very interesting n impressive!
This article at this very moment is more relevant. Cheers!
